A hopeful spawn from a store bought (and only 8 euros!) candy male, and a homebred female from my own marble line. We have no clue what the background of the male is, but he is a beautiful shape with a broad dorsal, a good sharp anal fin and single point ventrals. The mother is from a line who produces average looking females but awesome males. She is very heavy set (she can join us on our New Year dieting) with unfortunate colouring (hopefully temporary) making her only average topline worse, but she is well balanced, with a good dorsal and single tipped ventrals again. I am hoping her size will compliment him well as he is a bit on the smaller slender side, with lots of nice colours developing eventually, and a low ray count. I'm also hoping for sharper caudals out of them.
